CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
A luminous cloud emerges against a deep black sky, in a contemporary interpretation of Dutch chiaroscuro. Somewhere between appearing and disappearing, it evokes the fleeting beauty of a suspended moment and the fragility of the instant. The title introduces a lighter, almost playful dimension: elusive, the cloud seems to challenge the viewer — “Catch me if you can.”
The original painting, created in 2022 and measuring 120 × 150 cm, was selected for Art Capital 2023 at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris. It was later exhibited at the Atelier Néerlandais during the Members Only exhibition in June 2023, where it accompanied several performances, and subsequently in the SKY HIGH exhibition with Saskia ter Welle in December 2025.
