Medium: linocut, ink on paper.

This series comes in several phases and tones.

I practice linocut by hand, with a small Japanese press, or with a manual press. The large formats are printed with my body; I press with my feet and hands or I even sit or lay on the inked plate on the floor.

I like the inaccuracies and surprises that these artisanal printing techniques cause. I also like to play with the printed parts and the voids (more or less voluntary) which leave the paper visible in some places. Each print is therefore a little different and unique.
