DAMES BLANCHES
“Breezes that lived long ago rise above the lake, a wisp of mist breaks free and floats away to clothe a soul. A White Lady takes form on the air, then glides on a reflection and multiplies. These are the alchemical creatures born of imaginary matter and of the imagining mind. They are subtle mixtures of the breath of the forest, the sighing of the waters and human vapours.”
Pierre Dubois, in "The Great Encyclopedia of Faeries"

DÉTAILS
For this series I applied several layers of oil paint with a painters knife, creating relief and movement and allowing me in places almost to sculpt my ephemeral figurines.
